Interested in helping kids in our
community at the next level?

Take a leadership role HERE!

We are looking for 4 key helpers to work with us on this project for 6 weeks, from November 1st to December 13th. If you are interested in taking your volunteering to the next level and REALLY making an impact on kids in our community, THIS is how you do it!! Since The Happiness Project is run without any operating expenses (all Million Dollar Tan and Think Ink Marketing team members run the operations). As we've grown in the number of kids that we reach, we could use some helping hands! All of these positions can be done from home, whenever you want!

Positions Available:

  1. Coordinator
Children and bus correspondence and organization is one of the biggest part of this event. Working with the shelter directors to get all of their kids registered and all organized into a spreadsheet. Organizing bus route and schedule based on number of children and location of each place. This position is great for someone who is organized and detailed in their planning. We will of course provide all contacts and templates from past years to use as models for this years.

  2. Activity Station Coordinator
Help concept creative activity stations, work with volunteers to plan their station, keep organized spreadsheet of stations and manage communication with station hosts.

  3. Donation Coordinator
Coordinate with Toys for Tots for our donation pick-up from the, work with the community and companies to gather toys/school supplies/books etc. to add to the gift bags. This is the grand finale to the event and usually the only gifts these children receive this holiday season.

  4. Gift Card Coordinator
Gift cards are a very important part of this program. What we hear more than anything else from the kids is that they want to be able to pick out some things for themselves. Gift cards from stores like Target, Walmart, toy stores or clothing stores are some of the best gifts we can give these children. This position reaches out to get gift cards and organizes collecting them.

If you are interested, please email us! We are hoping to fill these positions and send over all details by mid-October.

**ALSO, if you and a friend want to do one of these positions, that would be so great!**
